I urge you to investigate discount plans because they are the wave of the future when it comes to saving money at the dentist. Without these plans, you are stuck paying ridiculous amount of money every time you visit regardless of what you are having done. Studies show that you should go to the dentist for an oral exam, cleaning, and bitewing x-ray every 6-months, although it may no be necessary to get x-rayed more than once per year. With the discount plan I bought, I was approved with 48 hours and I was seeing my dentist like 2 days after getting my membership. My kids will be getting braces and we look forward to saving 20% on the entire cost of orthodontic treatment.
