I was also able to switch plans once to a plan with lower fees on the root canal I needed. Most dentists do participate and I was shock to find my dentist participated in several of the plans in my area. These discount plans are great because they provide savings on everything from Braces, Gum surgery, Endodontics, and child dentistry. The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work. When looking for a new provider, I found myself going through the yellow pages looking for someone near my house that I could start visiting.
