These discount plans are great because they provide savings on everything from Braces, Gum surgery, Endodontics, and child dentistry. The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work. If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price. I tried to get a traditional individual dental insurance and I was running up against brick walls with the sign-up process and I was told I�d likely have to wait a year to get the plan activated. I wanted a dentist that was affordable and of good quality. You only have one set of teeth and I didn�t want them negatively affected.
