The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work. Studies show that you should go to the dentist for an oral exam, cleaning, and bitewing x-ray every 6-months, although it may no be necessary to get x-rayed more than once per year. Without these plans, you are stuck paying ridiculous amount of money every time you visit regardless of what you are having done. Most dentists do participate and I was shock to find my dentist participated in several of the plans in my area.
