My kids will be getting braces and we look forward to saving 20% on the entire cost of orthodontic treatment. I tried to get a traditional individual dental insurance and I was running up against brick walls with the sign-up process and I was told I�d likely have to wait a year to get the plan activated. Saving anything at a specialist is better than paying full-price I always say. Comparing the various dental plans in my area was really easy when I could look at them side to side and really see the differences in pricing for different procedures. I was also able to switch plans once to a plan with lower fees on the root canal I needed.
