I urge you to investigate discount plans because they are the wave of the future when it comes to saving money at the dentist. Make sure you choose a plan that will let go to a dentist near your house or make need to choose a specialist in you need more advanced type of dental correction. I was also able to switch plans once to a plan with lower fees on the root canal I needed. Saving anything at a specialist is better than paying full-price I always say.
