I was also able to switch plans once to a plan with lower fees on the root canal I needed. When looking for a new provider, I found myself going through the yellow pages looking for someone near my house that I could start visiting. If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price. Make sure you choose a plan that will let go to a dentist near your house or make need to choose a specialist in you need more advanced type of dental correction. I was able to save $1500 on my dental implants and my father in-law saved $1800 on his dentures with these plans.
