If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price. If you have pre-existing conditions you are still accepts, all of your dental work will be discounted from the dentist's normal charges. Comparing the various dental plans in my area was really easy when I could look at them side to side and really see the differences in pricing for different procedures. I was able to save $1500 on my dental implants and my father in-law saved $1800 on his dentures with these plans. Unless you have a discount dental program which will allow you to save a percentage off what you would normally pay for your dental care services.
