Saving anything at a specialist is better than paying full-price I always say. Unless you have a discount dental program which will allow you to save a percentage off what you would normally pay for your dental care services. Most dentists do participate and I was shock to find my dentist participated in several of the plans in my area. My kids will be getting braces and we look forward to saving 20% on the entire cost of orthodontic treatment. The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work.
