Most dentists do participate and I was shock to find my dentist participated in several of the plans in my area. I tried to get a traditional individual dental insurance and I was running up against brick walls with the sign-up process and I was told I’d likely have to wait a year to get the plan activated. Unless you have a discount dental program which will allow you to save a percentage off what you would normally pay for your dental care services. I was also able to switch plans once to a plan with lower fees on the root canal I needed. Saving anything at a specialist is better than paying full-price I always say.
