Most dentists do participate and I was shock to find my dentist participated in several of the plans in my area. The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work. I urge you to investigate discount plans because they are the wave of the future when it comes to saving money at the dentist. Comparing the various dental plans in my area was really easy when I could look at them side to side and really see the differences in pricing for different procedures. If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price.
